Ingredients for Mexican black bean puree

Black beans200g Red onion1
Garlic3 pieces cumin3tsb
Ground black pepper1/2tsb salt1/2tsb
lemon1/2 piece olive oil2tsb
jalapeño or any pepper that is spicy2

How to make Mexican black bean puree

Step 1

Soak the black beans in clean water overnight, add salt and soften.

Step 2

Grind all ingredients into a puree in a blender. Except for lemon.

Step 3

Heat the pan, add olive oil, stir-fry the refried beans slightly, rub in the lemon zest, squeeze in the lemon juice.

Step 4

Prepare clean and sterilized glass bottles, seal and refrigerate. Can be stored for a week.

Step 5

You can add some basil or chopped fresh tomatoes when eating.
