I ate Indian chicken fried rice at a friend’s house once, and I thought it was not bad, it was not so difficult to accept. Making Indian lamb fried rice at home today tastes great, and it’s a good choice to try exotic food once in a while!

Ingredients for Indian lamb fried rice

How to make Indian lamb fried rice

Step 1

Marinated meat dressing

Step 2

Wash the purchased lamb chops and set aside

Step 3

Add marinated meat: 60g ginger and garlic paste, 5g turmeric powder, 3g chili powder (if you can’t eat spicy, you can reduce it appropriately, or leave it out), 60g biryani powder, 200g yogurt, 35g chopped coriander, 4g mint crushed

Grasp evenly

Step 5

Close with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour

1 hour later, pour oil into the pot, put the shredded onion, and stir-fry over high heat for 5 minutes

Step 7

Stir-fry over medium heat for 5 minutes, and stir-fry until this is enough

Pour in the marinated lamb

Stir-fry evenly

Pour into the inner liner of the electric pressure cooker, add 15ml of boiling water, and stir well

Press the rib button and it will be out of the pot in 40 minutes

30min later, pour 2.5L of water into the pot and bring to a boil (Indian rice is very cooked, it absorbs too much water too early, the rice is not delicious, make it after 30 minutes, the time is just right)

Add the prepared seasoning, a pinch of caraway seeds, 4 green cardamom, 4 cloves, 2 small pieces of cinnamon, and 15g of salt

Stir with a spatula until the salt melts

Pour in 700g Indian rice

After stirring over medium heat, cook until 90% cooked and then out of the pot, Indian rice absorbs water very well, will cook quickly, and after cooking, it will not be delicious

This will allow you to fry a shredded onion

Stir-fry until this color is fine, the more charred the better, but don’t fry it

The pressure cooker is good, it looks good and smells good

Use a leaking net to scoop the rice, take half of the rice, and spread it in a pot

Pour all the ingredients into the electric pressure cooker

Spread the remaining rice on top

Sprinkle with freshly fried chopped onion and mint leaves

Cover over medium heat for 3 minutes
