Biryani
Basmati rice, or biryani, is a traditional staple food that is very common in India and Pakistan. The main ingredient is long-grain basmati rice, a local specialty called Basanti, which can be made in many ways. The finished dish tastes spicy and slightly sweet, very appetizing, and can be eaten with a variety of meat or vegetable dishes. It is a relatively basic rice method.
How to make biryani
Step 1
Wash and drain the rice after soaking, put the butter in a small bowl and melt in the microwave
Step 2
Beat the ginger with a small amount of water to make ginger puree
Step 3
Add half of the melted butter to the rice, add ginger puree, turmeric powder, mix well, and marinate for 15 minutes
Step 4
Put the remaining butter in the pan and sauté the spices until fragrant
Step 5
Pour the fried spices into the rice, add salt, sugar, water and simmer in a rice cooker
Step 6
Put the rice on a plate and put raisins and fried cashews on top
