Double claypot rice, rice cooker lazy cooking
Sausage + mushroom slippery chicken, double rice cooker claypot rice, the ultimate dish for one person. When I live alone, I don’t want to order takeout, and the most I cook is this claypot rice. The core ingredients of this dish, sausage, rice, dried shiitake mushrooms, soy sauce and oyster sauce, can be stored at home for a long time. With the blessing of a universal rice cooker, even people who don’t usually buy groceries or cook can easily make it.
The method of claypot rice
Step 1
The ingredients on the picture are for one person. Shiitake mushrooms can be used fresh or soaked dried shiitake mushrooms.
Step 2
Peel off the chicken thighs along the bones and cut into large pieces. Add 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 gram of black pepper, and 1 gram of salt. (Except for the amount of the recipe)
Step 3
Shred the ginger, remove the stem and slice the mushrooms, mix well with the chicken and marinate.
Step 4
Slice the sausage diagonally.
Step 5
Wash the rice, put in less water than usual for steaming rice, and press the cook button. (For example, conventional cooking water is one knuckle high, but now it is a little more than half a knuckle) The 1.5-liter mini rice cooker I use is steamed in 15 minutes. Open the lid and look at the state of the rice, the water is absorbed, and there are holes on the surface of the rice.
Step 6
Quickly spread out the sausage slices, chicken, and shiitake mushrooms. Drizzle a circle of peanut oil along the edge of the pot to make it easier to get out of the pot. Close the rice cooker and continue to cook for 5 minutes without the cook button jumping.
Step 7
During this period, prepare side dishes and sauces. Wash and blanch the greens. (Soaking in boiling water until it is broken is also acceptable)
Step 8
Sauce: 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, half a tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, 2 grams of salt, 2 grams of sugar, 2 tablespoons of water.
Step 9
Take a clean pot, pour in the sauce, heat over medium heat until the sauce bubbles, turn off the heat.
Step 10
Open the lid of the stewed claypot rice, load the greens, pour over the sauce, mix well and eat.
Step 11
Fragrance is tempting. I was too lazy to wash the dishes and ate it directly in the pot.
Cooking tips for claypot rice
-Different models of rice cookers have different firepower, remember the key points: steam the rice for 15 minutes, open the lid to see the state – the rice is basically cooked, you can load the ingredients – cook for another 5 minutes to pour the sauce. -While weighing the ingredients, beat an egg on top of the rice, the nutrition is more comprehensive.
