Ingredients for Japanese fried tofu

How to make fried tofu in Japan

Step 1

Cut a box of tofu into 8 pieces, roll in dry starch on all sides, and fry in a pan over low heat until the scab is slightly yellow

Step 2

take out the tofu and put it in a half-deep dish; Take a small bowl and mix the sauce, two tablespoons of soy sauce, one spoonful of mirin, some dashi powder, one tablespoon of sugar, two tablespoons of water, and some minced ginger

Step 3

Pour the sauce near the tofu, spread minced green onions and small carrots on top of the tofu, and you’re done!
