Indian recipe butter chicken
Speaking of Indian food, due to the strong spice taste, you may not be used to it for the first time. Perhaps it is in strong contrast with traditional Chinese cuisine, but in fact, both Chinese and Western people have an attitude towards Indian cuisine that some people like it and some people don’t love it. But Butter chicken is not the most authentic Indian dish, but it is definitely a very popular dish in Western countries, and I fell in love with it the first time I tried it. Compared to other Indian curries with red meat, which have a strong meaty smell, the sweet and sour tomato buttery taste of Butter chicken is definitely a small refreshing series of Indian recipes. The rich vermilion broth is served with rice and served with simple vegetables and naan (you can replace it with regular scallion pancakes). An exotic Indian dinner will definitely leave you with a lingering taste.

Step 1
Prepare the required materials. Ingredients are very important, tomato puree and tomato paste are not the same! If you want to pursue the taste, you can’t use anything else, it is recommended that Metro or Jack Ma’s father’s Taobao help find ingredients. Indian powder is also very important, and it cannot be missing. The others should be easy to find. Cut the chicken breast into pieces and marinate overnight one night in advance. Okay, let’s not talk nonsense!
Step 2
First, stir-fry the chicken breast until the surface looks cooked, you can season it with an appropriate amount at this moment, add some salt and Indian powder (the amount is included in the ingredient list, add according to personal taste) to remove the fishy smell. You can taste a small piece with salty and umami flavors, and you can put it on a plate and set aside.
Step 3
Add the oil in the ingredient list, add cumin grains and sauté until fragrant, add diced onion, shredded ginger, and coriander stalks and stir-fry the onion until cooked. Add minced garlic, two types of chili powder, and stir-fry.
Step 4
Stir-fry and add water and two types of tomatoes.
Step 5
Add the chicken and stir-fry the chicken to coat with seasoning. Cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Finally, add cream, lemon juice (filter off the pulp), honey, salt, butter. Stir-fry until butter is melted. Sprinkle with coriander leaves. Continue to simmer for 3-5 minutes, the seasoning will be very viscous, you can add some water (there is still running water around the pot, you don’t need to add more water)
Step 6
Serve on a plate with chopped cilantro leaves and garnish with cream (if you don’t eat cilantro, you can use garlic chives and sesame seeds instead, that’s what I did)
Step 7
Pair it with rice and enjoy the rich buttery tomato sauce that melts in your mouth!
