Indian cream chicken

Very authentic, although it takes a little effort, but the moment the food is eaten, all the effort is worth it!

Ingredients for Indian butter chicken

drumstick5 Marinade:
Greek yogurt1/2 cup Garlic1.5 tbsp
Masala Indian Spice Mix2 tablespoons Ginger puree1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder1 tsp paprika1 tsp
Cumin powder1 tsp salt1 tsp
Seasoning ingredients: olive oil3 tablespoons
Unsalted butter1 tablespoon onionsHalf
Garlic1.5 tbsp Ginger puree1 tablespoon
Cumin powder1.5 tsp Indian Spice Mix1.5 tsp
Canned tomato puree400 g paprikaHalf a teaspoon
salt1.5 tsp caster sugar1 tablespoon
Whipped cream1 cup Coriander seed powder1 tsp

Indian butter chicken recipe

Step 1

Wash and remove the bones from the chicken thighs and cut into large pieces

Step 2

The marinade is prepared in advance

Step 3

Grasp the marinade with the chicken and seal and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight

Step 4

When marinating the chicken, match the seasoning sauce and shred the onion

Step 5

Put oil in the pan, stir-fry the chicken pieces until golden brown on both sides, and set aside. Don’t waste the soup that oozes out during preparation, put it with the chicken.

Step 6

Put 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter into the pan, add the onion, stir-fry until translucent, pour in the other cream chicken sauce without the whipped cream, cover and simmer for 10 minutes before serving. Pour into a juicer and beat in whipped cream until smooth.

Step 7

Pour the beaten sauce back into the pot, add the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes, add some coriander to garnish, serve with garlic scones, and you can eat!

Spoon size reference, 1 tablespoon = 1 tbsp (table spoon) 1 teaspoon = 1 tsp (tea spoon) 1 cup = 1 cup

Cooking tips for Indian cream chicken

1. If you find chicken thighs troublesome, you can use chicken breast instead 2. Coriander seed powder can be omitted if it is not available 3. Indian mixed spice English garam masala 4. Whipped cream can be replaced with milk, but the taste will not be as rich as whipped cream
