Fluff marshmallow, German Bergi Schwaff

Fluff marshmallow, German Bergi Schwaff

Bergschwaff is a traditional German waffle with a variety of jams and creams, and it will definitely be the protagonist of weekend afternoon tea. What happens when Waffle meets Fuff Marshmallow? Soft and light texture, sweet but not greasy taste, refreshing slight fragrance This is fluff marshmallow, with its sweetness to bring joy to the people around you and bring you sweet memories. Spread Farov marshmallows directly on the waffles as an alternative to traditional cream and pair with cherry sauce for a more unique flavor. The taste is like the beautiful scenery of the Belgisch region, where it was born, and the taste is like a breeze blowing by the Rhine, refreshing and gentle.

The practice of Bergschwaff in Germany

Step 1

Softened butter is poured into a container, sugar is added.

Step 2

Mix butter with sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

Step 3

First, add the egg mixture to the sugar-oil mixture in batches and stir well. Then mix in low-gluten flour, baking powder, milk and honey, and stir evenly.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the mold and scrape it flat. I make three pieces, and if I make a thinner one, I can make four pieces.

Step 5

Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. (When baking in an empty mold, add a little water, do not bake empty)

Step 6

Hot demold and invert on baking sheet. Then send the waffles to the oven again, adjust the temperature to 200 degrees, bake for 5-8 minutes to color to your satisfaction.

Step 7

Place on the drying net and let it cool

Step 8

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, sprinkle with marshmallows, serve with cherry sauce and enjoy!

Step 9

It’s delicious!

Cooking techniques of German Bergschwaff

1. The second return to the oven after the waffle is demolded can make the waffle skin golden brown, and the taste is more crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. 2. For the recipe of cherry sauce, refer to my “cherry sauce” recipe. It’s cherry season now, and it’s done again this year!
