Paella
Paella is the national dish of Spain, and Spaniards usually enjoy it with the whole family on Sunday afternoon. I ate a variety of Paella while studying in Spain, and today I will share with you one of the most classic recipes.
How to make paella
Step 1
Dice the red peppers, green peppers, tomatoes, and mince the garlic. Put olive oil in a hot pan, add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, add tomatoes, red peppers, and green peppers and stir-fry.
Step 2
After the vegetables are cooked, add water and rice, add saffron powder, cover and cook for 1 hour. While waiting, you can wash the seafood.
Step 3
After 1 hour, add seafood to the pan and cook for 20 minutes, add salt to taste.
Step 4
Turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the soup, squeeze in the lemon juice to taste, and finish.
Cooking tips for paella
1: The key to this dish is saffron powder and olive oil, which are the two things that make the taste of paella. 2: Authentic paella is a bit sandwiched, because it is cooked in a wok, if you don’t like it, you can transfer the soup rice to the pressure cooker in step 2, which also saves time.
