How to make Thai mango sticky rice

Step 1

Rinse the glutinous rice repeatedly with clean water until the water becomes clear.

Step 2

Soak glutinous rice in water for at least 3 hours.

Step 3

Find a steaming cloth, put it on the steamer, and put a few pandan leaves on it.

Step 4

Put the soaked glutinous rice on top and spread it evenly.

Step 5

Wrap the glutinous rice in a steaming cloth and put it in a steamer and steam it for about 20-30 minutes, the video says 30 minutes, because the dosage in the video is double the amount I gave the recipe. After finishing it, I found that I had done too much, so the recipe for everyone was halved. If there are many people, you can also double the recipe.

Step 6

Let’s cook a coconut milk while steaming rice. Add 25 grams of sugar and 3 grams of salt to 140 grams of coconut milk, heat over low heat until the sugar and salt melt, and the coconut milk can be removed from the heat with slight bubbles.

Step 7

After the rice is steamed, pour it into a large bowl and throw away the pandan leaves. Pour all the coconut milk into it.

Step 8

Stir well and let stand for about 15 minutes. Let the coconut milk fully soak into the rice.

Step 9

Cook another pouring sauce. Salt the coconut milk and cook until slightly bubbling, then pour the coconut milk into a small bowl and set aside.

Step 10

Peel the mango, cut the pulp along the pit, and cut it into large pieces.

Step 11
